HaloSauna

The HaloSauna combines both Halotherapy & Infrared. Ours also includes red light therapy

There’s nothing quite like a session in a sauna. You feel more relaxed and rested after you’re done, and the heat helps relieve sore muscles and improves your overall health and well-being. These saunas use infrared panels instead of conventional heat to easily penetrate human tissue, heating up your body before heating up the air. In an infrared sauna, about 20% of the heat goes to heating the air and the other 80% heats your body. This radiant heat penetrates the skin more deeply than traditional saunas.

Better sleep, Relaxation, Detoxification, Weight loss, Relief from sore muscles, Relief from joint pain such as arthritis, Clear and tighter skin, Improved circulation, Helps with chronic fatigue syndrome, Improved appearance of cellulite

Most facilities that offer infrared sauna treatments recommend using the sauna three to four days per week. If you are healthy and tolerate the four days, you can use the sauna daily.

Top benefits of Infrared Saunas:

Not Advised For

Pregnancy, epilepsy, individuals currently taking cortisone injections or steroids, acute and active hemorrhage, or individuals with diseases that involve the retina of the eye, such as diabetes.

Red light

Red and near-infrared light are part of the electromagnetic spectrum, and more specifically, part of the spectrum of light emitted by the sun. These wavelengths of light are “bioactive” in humans.
Red light between 600-700nm offers benefits for skin texture and tone, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, promoting collagen production and generally rejuvenating the appearance of skin and hair.
Near-infrared light (NIR) 700nm – 1100nm penetrates deeper into the tissues to assist with wound healing, muscle recovery, nerve injury, and joint pain

NASA originally began experimenting with red light therapy on plant growth in space and then to help heal wounds in astronauts. Like many developments, other potential uses began to be investigated. In fact, red light therapy is already widely medically accepted in its use in photodynamic therapy.

Red light therapy is thought to work by acting on the “power house” in your body’s cells called mitochondria. With more energy, other cells can do their work more efficiently, such as repairing skin, boosting new cell growth, and enhancing skin rejuvenation. More specifically, certain cells absorb light wavelengths and are stimulated to work.

Frequently Asked Questions

As a premier wellness company, your health and safety are our number one focus. True WaveTM far infrared and full spectrum infrared heaters are the most effective and safest infrared heaters available. Clearlight Infrared Sauna® models are the ONLY infrared sauna that cancels out both EMF and ELF. Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) are energy waves with frequencies below 300 hertz or cycles per second. Extremely low frequency (ELF) are the electric fields with frequencies from 3 to 30 hertz. The HALOSAUNA, offered in partnership with Clearlight Infrared Saunas, offer the lowest and safest EMF and ELF levels of any infrared sauna on the market, bar-none. The EMF levels in your HALOSAUNA, will be mostly below 1mg when tested directly on the heater itself. Where you sit in the HALOSAUNA, the EMF levels are virtually 0mg. The ELF levels are 3 – 5 times below the threshold of concern. All of the competitors in the sauna industry, are over 20 times above the threshold of concern.

A North American Basswood is a “white” wood with a yellow to whitish color. Basswood has a very dense cellular structure making it stronger, more stable and sweat resistant. It is also resistant to cracking and splitting. Basswood is also considered hypoallergenic. It has almost no odor and is one of the only woods not considered a “sensitizer” for people with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities.

The HaloSauna booth is a cutting-edge wellness treatment that combines halotherapy (salt therapy), infrared sauna or red light therapy in one session. This innovative combination  enhances overall health and well-being by targeting multiple areas of the body simultaneously.

The HaloSauna booth utilizes 3 scientifically-backed complementary technologies for healing and renewal: infrared sauna, halo therapy, and red-light therapy. All 3 modalities can be combined in one session to save you time and promote wellness. The infrared heat will penetrate into the body for detoxification and relaxation, while the halo generator will disperse micro salt particles into the air for respiratory and skin benefit, and the red light panel will rejuvenate skin and promote healing at the cellular level.

Combining these therapies provides a holistic wellness experience. Benefits include
improved respiratory health, detoxification, enhanced skin health, pain relief, reduced inflammation, muscle recovery, stress reduction, and overall improved well-being.

The frequency of sessions depends on individual health goals and needs. Many people benefit from weekly sessions, while others may require more frequent treatments for specific conditions. Our staff can help you create a personalized treatment plan.

During a session, you will sit comfortably in the booth while the halogenerator disperses salt particles into the air, the infrared heat warms your body, and the red light therapy panels work on your skin. Sessions typically last 20minutes, and you can relax, meditate, or listen to music during this time.

Yes, the HaloSauna booth is safe for most people. The combined therapies are non-
invasive and have minimal side effects. However, it’s always best to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new therapy, especially if you have a serious health condition.

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for exposure to the infrared heat and red light. For optimal skin benefits, you may choose to wear a bathing suit or shorts and a tank top

Yes, the combined therapies can help manage and alleviate symptoms of chronic conditions such as respiratory issues, arthritis, chronic pain, skin conditions, and stress-related disorders. Always consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice.

Most people experience no side effects. Some may experience mild detoxification symptoms such as increased sweating or temporary skin redness due to increased blood flow. These effects are typically short-lived and part of the body’s natural response to the therapies.

There’s no special preparation required. However, staying hydrated before and after the
session is recommended to help with detoxification and overall effectiveness. Avoid heavy meals
immediately before the session.

Infrared therapy penetrates deep into the body, promoting detoxification, relaxation, and pain relief. Red light therapy works on the surface and subdermal layers of the skin, enhancing cell regeneration, reducing inflammation, and improving skin health. Together, they
provide a comprehensive wellness treatment.

Pregnant women should avoid infrared sauna therapy due to the risk of overheating and potential stress on the body. It’s important to consult with your healthcare provider before using any new therapies during pregnancy.

You can book a session through our online booking system, by calling us directly, or by visiting our location. We recommend scheduling in advance to ensure availability.

While halotherapy can be beneficial for children, infrared sauna and red light therapy are generally recommended for adults. At this time, The Salt Room is kid friendly and The Light Room is restricted to adults only. Please visit The Salt Room page to learn more about halotherapy

The benefits of Halotherapy are best at a “warming heat” level of between 88 and 104 degrees F. It allows the expansion of the lungs and opens the pores on the skin allowing halotherapy to even more effective. At very high heat sweat can block you skin pores, notallowing the salt to penetrate. If you are doing a combined session with halo therapy, you will have the option to keep the heat at 88 degrees, or the sauna will continue warming and the salt will cut off at 104. You can also request to have the sauna preheated if you are not adding halo therapy (salt), in which case you will start your session between 110 and 120 and the sauna will continue to heat, rarely going above 140 depending on the length of session you choose.

Sauna therapy results are cumulative. This means the more you come in, the better you will feel. Just like working out or dieting, it will take a few sessions before benefits begin to manifest.
You may notice that it takes 10-20 minutes to break a sweat in your first session. This is because the sauna is heating your body directly, passively raising your core temperature 2-3 degrees, rather than simply heating your skin with hot air. This is a defining difference between infrared and traditional sauna. As your body becomes more accustomed to raising your core temperature on a regular basis, your sweat will become more excessive and start earlier in your session.

Infrared wavelengths are the invisible part of the sun’s spectrum consisting of near (NIR), mid (MIR) and far (FIR) rays. These rays have the ability to penetrate human tissue. This characteristic makes infrared beneficial because it heats the body directly at the core, rather than simply warming the air, resulting in a deep, detoxifying sweat at the cellular level, where the majority of toxins reside.
Infrared heat is completely safe and healthy for all living things. You can be exposed to infrared light (at a low temperature) for hours without the risk of burning. Infrared is a naturally occurring output of the sun, but does not contain the harmful UV rays associated with unprotected sunlight. In fact, infrared’s gentle heat is used in hospitals to warm newborn infants.

Eye protection is not necessary when using the red light tower, however you may find the intensity of the lights uncomfortable. We have included protective eyewear for your convenience and enhanced comfort. When initially turning on the unit, your eyes will need to adjust to the strong light output. We recommend you look away or close your eyes and then open them slowly so your eyes can adjust. It is not recommended to look directly into the LED’s.
